What we do
It is the work we do most days of the week, for offices, schools, surgeries and care homes across Derby and Nottingham.
Every portable appliance on site inspected and tested, from kettles and laptops to workshop tools and lab equipment. Each item is labelled with its test date, and anything that fails is taken out of use and reported to you with the reason.
Monthly function tests and annual three-hour duration tests to BS 5266, with a logbook that stands up to a fire officer’s inspection.
Annual basic service to BS 5306-3, extended service and replacement units, plus fire blanket inspection while we are on site.
We also carry out ladder inspection and water temperature monitoring for legionella control. Ask us about adding these to your PAT visit.

Primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and universities. Holiday scheduling available, every engineer DBS checked, and real experience with IT suites and lab equipment.
Dental practices, GP surgeries, medical laboratories and care homes. We work around patient care schedules and are experienced with medical equipment.
Those are the three we see most, not the limit. We also test for pubs, restaurants and hotels, gyms and salons, workshops and garages, warehouses and factories, retail units, letting agents and landlords, village halls, charities, nurseries and site offices.
